Tempus-Ukraine@20 International Conference
Tempus-Ukraine@20 International Conference was organized on May 14, 2013 in Kyiv to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tempus programme in Ukraine.
The aim of the event was to disseminate experience of Tempus implementation in Ukraine, promote mutual learning and share best practices, raise awareness and multiply Tempus achievements, recognize and award Tempus partners. The conference convened 200 representatives of higher education institutions, research institutes, national and local authorities, academic community from Ukraine and Partner Countries, agencies and institutions from the EU.

INTERUV First Regional Conference
INTERUV: Joint Programmes - facilitator for university internationalisation is an initiative of Erasmus Mundus National Structures from 15 European countries aimed to support the international cooperation, development and implementation of joint programmes of European universities together with higher education institutions from the following regions: Eastern Neighbouring Region, Western Balkans, Central Asia and Southern Neighbouring Region.
Three regional conferences directed to selected regions will be organized within the project. Each conference will focus on the issue of international cooperation in the perspectives of development and implementation of joint study programmes as a tool for university internationalisation.
The First Regional Conference was held in Warsaw on 9-10 May 2013. The event was attended by about 150 participants representing HEIs, offices dealing with educational programmes, as well as institutions active in higher education for which the issue of joint study programmes is challenging and needing further development.
Armenian group included five participants. The participation in the conference was open only for invited participants.

Tempus Regional Seminar on “Human Resource Management in Public Higher Education in Eastern Europe”
On April 21-23 2013 Tempus Regional Seminar on “Human Resource Management in Public Higher Education in Eastern Europe” was organised in Chisinau, Moldova.The aim of the seminar was to present the results of the Tempus study “Human Resource Management in Public Higher Education” and to encourage reflection and discussion among academics, experts and ministerial representatives on the general challenges and trends in human resource management in public higher education, providing some examples of good practices and recent initiatives.
The seminar included four parallel workshops on different themes: 1. Academic staff, 2. Administrative staff, 3. Management staff, 4. Human resource policies and reforms.The participants included representatives from Ministries of Education and Science, higher education institutions, Tempus project partners and Tempus Higher Education Reform Experts.Target countries were Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. Armenian group was comprised of nine participants: one representative of the Ministry of Education and Science, two representatives of the Tempus Higher Education Reform Experts’ group, five representatives of higher education institutions and one representative of the National Tempus Office.
